The course is delivered over two consecutive days. To be eligible for this course you must produce a VALID FIRST AID AT WORK CERTIFICATE WHICH MUST BE: - IN DATE AT THE START OF THE COURSE AND - PRESENTED PRIOR TO BEING ACCEPTED ON THE COURSE The award is valid for three years as of the date of assessment. In order to re-qualify learners must be assessed against all learning outcomes and assessment criteria in the First Aid at Work course. Level 2 Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis Management Qualification + 2 hours (Separate Certificate issued) This covers: - What is anaphylaxis - Triggers - Sign and Symptoms - Airways, Breathing, Circulation problems - Treatment - Safe use of an auto injector - Preparing medication - Using EpiPen, Jext and Emerade - Hand over Needles and sharps AED (Defibrillator) Course + 1.5 hours (Separate Certificate issued) *if you do not have the minimum number of candidates, please contact us anyway as we will work with you to accommodate your needs.
