COVID -19 Terms and Conditions
All Swim Clients attending swimming lessons with Enjoy2swim must understand that no PPE or other protective measures can provide 100% protection from infection with, or transmission of COVID-19.
Whilst Enjoy2swim has taken every practicable measure to reduce the risk, there will still be an element of risk involved in undertaking swimming lessons.
When arriving at St Georges Preparatory School, Children will be collected from the car park nearest the pool, with a Parent or Guardian to accompany them as well as by Nicky Holgate-Smith.
At present until the Changing rooms are able to open, Children and Adults should arrive beach ready as per the video which is available to watch on our Facebook page.
We kindly ask Parents, weather permitting, to watch your Child’s lesson outside on the grass at the side of the pool.
In the event of poor weather or should an Adult need to enter poolside to collect a Child who maybe unwell, or where an Adult is required to support a Child in the water as per the Swim England COVID- 19 guidance. The Adult will be required to have a non-invasive temperature check and must wear a face mask which will be provided by Nicky Holgate -Smith. who will also be wearing one whilst on poolside teaching.
Please note that any Adult who has a reading of 37.5 or higher will not be allowed to enter the poolside and the swim lesson will be cancelled and re-booked.
All Clients will be required to complete a COVID- 19 Declaration form which will be sent prior to the lesson taken place and must be returned.
No Child or Adult lesson will take place if the declaration form has not completed.
If you have a problem printing or returning the form, please do get in touch with Nicky Holgate-Smith prior to the lesson.
Please note you or your Child must not attend our swimming lessons if: -
- You are self-isolating or have a household member who is self-isolating
- If you have an underlying health condition which falls into the vulnerable category
- Recently travelled to Jersey
- If you are displaying any of the below symptoms of COVID -19
The most common symptoms are new:
- Continuous cough
- Fever/high temperature (37.8C or greater)
- Loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste (anosmia)
- A new continuous cough is where you have a new cough that’s lasted for an hour
Have had 3 or more episodes of coughing in 24 hours
are coughing more than usual
- A high temperature is feeling hot to the touch on your chest or back (you don’t need to measure your temperature).
- You may feel warm, cold or shivery.
If you or your Child tests positive for Coronavirus and you have attended a Swimming lesson within the last 14 days, please tell the track and trace team that you have attended a swimming lesson at Enjoy2swim.
We recognise these are strange times we are living in but rest assured your safety and wellbeing is paramount to us.
